Case studies

Two companies I co-founded and built as CTO, both from an empty repo to an acquisition. VenueSafe went from idea to acquired by me&u in six months. Fingertip reached tens of thousands of small businesses across 100+ countries before Linktree acquired it in 2025.

Both followed the same pattern: a small team, a narrow problem, and a useful version shipped before the plan was finished. VenueSafe stayed deliberately small, three repos built under public-health deadlines. Fingertip grew into a 30+ repo platform covering websites, bookings, payments, and invoicing. Each write-up below covers the context, what I built, the numbers, and how it ended.
