What the MIT licence covers when you copy a component, what the docs and registry provide without warranty, and how these terms change.
Blode UI is a free component registry run by Matthew Blode at blode.co/ui. Using the docs, the registry, or the components means you accept what is written here. If you do not, do not use them.
Everything in this registry is published under the MIT License. Copy a component with the CLI or paste it out of the docs, change it however you like, and ship it in commercial work. You do not owe attribution, a link back, or a share of anything you earn. Once a component is in your repository it is your code, and nothing here gives Blode UI a claim over the product you build with it.
The docs and the registry are published without warranty of any kind. Component sources can change between versions, examples can go out of date, and the registry endpoints can move or be taken down without notice. Pin what you copy, because you copied it: components are meant to live in your repository rather than be fetched at runtime. Nothing here is a support agreement, and there is no promised response time to an issue or an email.
Components build on other people's work, including Base UI, React DayPicker, Tailwind CSS, and the icon set. Those carry their own licences and terms, and installing a component installs those dependencies. The docs also link out to sites nobody here controls, and linking to one is not an endorsement of it.
The site records anonymous usage through PostHog so that broken and popular pages are visible. See the privacy page for what that covers. These terms can change when the project does, and the current version is always the one on this page.
