Follow button that swaps to a subscribed state
A follow button that swaps to subscribed. Follow slides out to the right, Subscribed drops in from above with a tick. Only the label changes, so keyboard focus survives the toggle.
It takes exactly two spans as children, one per state, and throws if you hand it anything else. The button never has to know what the labels say, and the two states sit side by side in the source.
